MORE CAVERNS OF SONORA

All the small formations on the wall are called "pop corn".

This formation resulted  from a stalactite and a stalagmite coming together.  (Can't remember which one is which).

Sometimes many  formations happen together and are many  different colors.  The colors are a result of the different minerals picked up by the water as it seeps down through the soil and rocks above.

We saw a lot of this formation is one come from celing and create another to grow upward.  The different at here from Kartchner and Carlsbad is they have a lot of small pocket of hole sometime under and sometime above.
